JW 8.34.0 Player v8.34.5 introduces two new UI/UX features and addresses a player behavior bug, In this release, several FreeWheel and Google PPS fixes have been released, In this release, a new property has been added to the beforePlay event.
JW 8.33.0 With JW 8.33.2, we're upgraded the OM SDK, JW 8.33.4 updates the ad loading screen for videos without thumbnails, migrates from the unload event, and fixes several player issues.
New Feature

New methods for converting color names and creating DOM elements have been implemented, which improve player performance.
The player now supports localization for the following language: Chinese (Taiwan) (code: zh-tw).
Several FreeWheel and Google PPS fixes have been released.
The beforePlay event now contains the state property that indicates the play state.
The display of the ad loading screen has been updated for videos without thumbnails.
The system has migrated from using the unload event.
OM SDK has been upgraded to version 1.4.12

Bug Fix

Autopause and pause behaviors are now respected when the player is not viewable.
The FreeWheel Plugin correctly sets the mode to ad request when the stream is live.
Mute and unmute behavior in FreeWheel ad pods is now reflected correctly.
Google Publisher Provided Signals (PPS) values are sent and encoded properly.
skipAdBreak works for VPAID ads in the VAST client.
The window border now displays correctly for Tizen captions.
DASH subtitles with multiple rows in a single cue display correctly.
The DASH audio track menu will correctly play the selected track.

The player does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am impressed. I do not know how to write reviews but this i just had to say.. ceck it out..

When, when a script on my site conflicted with the player's, their support team assisted me, and within 2 hours it was solved. rare in many modules and plug ins.. thank you Jrulz

I tried setting this up with some MP4 movies as I wanted HTML5 and Flash fallback support. Tried as mentionned in the examples, I never was able to have HTML5 support on my iPad.

Even when using latest Flash on my desktop PC, the clips where not playing.

You probably need a ton of configuration, I don't have time for that and the doc isn't very helpful.

As they won't give my money back, that's $20+ down the toilet for me.

I've browsed a lot of video players in my 1 year Joomla adventure, but this is the most comprehensive and user-friendly. For a few dollars you get an absolute awesome value: an easy to use player, handy and stylish plugins and best of all: HTML5 functionality! Now my stuff is played on Apple mobile devices as well.

Best yet, when a script on my site conflicted with the player's, their support team assisted me on saturday night, and within 2 hours it was solved. I never ever got that with any product. Never. So great respect for the development team and their support!

Get this one, it will make the difference for your site.

I needed an easy to use player that would display my videos on most of the browsers and on mobile devices. This module, and the plugin also included in the licence are easy to install and use.

I use the module to display my playlist on my frontpage with the playlist editor, and the plugin to display single videos in my articles. It works fine, and there are many nice skins you can use. The licence includes the next releases of the JW 5 player, which was also important to me.

But most of all, the support is very fast, and very efficient.

I was first a bit disappointed that some features were not available in the free version : be sure to have the advanced version, which can't be freely downloaded. It's a shame, but I didn't have any bad surprise anyway, and I don't regret my purchase.

I initially had difficulties understanding the licence model and purchasing the product, but once I had it, it installs easily and is very powerful and feature rich.

I had to explore quite a lot of the documentation to set up with CDN and RTMP, and to explore the wealth of features and add-ons via Longtail.

But one you get there, it's worth it.

I had trouble getting RTMP settings right, but the JoomlaRulez support is excellent - very helpful and tenacious - so I'm there now.

I'm working with this extension on both Joomla 1.5 and 1.6 - fantastic!

The only small issue is the plugin configure options don't display quite right and a few are hard to read.
