🔗 Flexible Anchor Rules

SeoLinks lets you define one or more anchor phrases for every destination URL.

For example, several phrases can point to the same Joomla page, while their order determines which anchor text has priority.

This makes it possible to use more specific phrases first and broader fallback phrases only when a preferred anchor is not available in the content.

🎯 Control How Many Links Are Added

SeoLinks gives you control over how often each destination can be linked from a page.

A per-rule limit can be defined directly in the configuration. Existing links to the same target URL are also counted, so SeoLinks can avoid adding another automatic link when the configured limit has already been reached.

This is especially useful when combining manually placed links with automatic internal linking.

🔤 Flexible Word Matching

SeoLinks supports special matching syntax for different word forms.

You can match:

• A word with one optional additional letter
• Words that begin with the same root
• Exact phrases containing characters such as dots or asterisks

This helps one rule cover natural variations of the same keyword without creating a separate entry for every word form.

🛡️ Exclude Content from Automatic Linking

SeoLinks does not insert links inside existing links, headings, scripts, styles or HTML comments.

You can also exclude specific content blocks manually using SeoLinks skip markers, and selected pages can be excluded from processing through the plugin settings.
