Introduction

GenerateMeta is a convenient Joomla! Plugin that automates the process of generating article meta descriptions and keywords, saving you valuable time. With this plugin, you can customize your meta description length, choose a page title (optional), and decide on the page header title order - Front-Site / Site-Front / Front / Site. You also have the ability to set a minimum word length for your keywords, choose the number of keywords, and include static keywords that will always be displayed. Another great feature is the ability to create an editable word list of words to ignore (essentially a blacklist), ensuring only relevant keywords are included. When saving your settings with the article, you can choose to use the title, content, or both for your meta description. You can also set a robot meta and verify with Google.
It's important to note that this plugin is not compatible with K2

Functionality

Does exactly what it says on the tin, activate the plugin, set a couple of easy to understand parameters and you are good to go.

Ease of use

Automatically enters description and keywords when you save an article, has a setting for number of keywords and a "black list" of words.

Documentation

Not really needed the plugin is self explanatory

Value for money

Excellent value for money - especially when if you represent a Not for Profit Organization or have a non paying site.

I used this to: I use the plugin on a community support site and it saves me time and effort when creating articles as I don't have to think about keywords, simply review what the plugin outputs and modify it as necessary which in most cases editing is not required.
