Development and Contributions

The module was developed by ARI Soft for Joomla 1.x/2.x/3.x with the original module name ARI Ext Menu. The original module has been removed from the Joomla extension directory.
A fork of the ARI Ext Menu module was migrated to Joomla 4.x/5.x with the new module name Ext Menu Reloaded by Jefferson49

Installation

Download the latest release of the module
Install the ZIP package in the Joomla administration backend
If you want to reuse data from the former ARI Ext Menu, do NOT uninstall the former ARI Ext Menu module. Instead, just install the Ext Menu Reloaded module. It will re-use the existing database tables.

Functionality

Ext Menu Reloaded supports horizontal and vertical direction. and it allows us to put several different Menus all on the same page.

Ease of use

It is very easy to customize the appearance of the Menu font size and background colors.

Support

The developer has a GitHub Issues page with the CSS fix for long titles .

I have used it to put 5 additional Menus all on the same page each with different background colors.

I used this to: There is one problem which is easily fixed. On the vertical layout, menu items with long titles that take up two lines have line-height set for 1 by default. This makes these long This is hard to read. As a quick fix, one can add CSS to the end of your template custom CSS file.
