What it checks
- Articles (intro and full text, intro and full-article images), Custom modules, menu item titles and categories (description and image): images without alt text, alt text that is only a file name ("IMG_2041.jpg") or says nothing ("image"), videos and other embeds without a title, empty links, unclear link text such as "click here" or "weiterlesen", skipped or empty headings, tables without header cells, form fields without labels.
- Your pages as visitors see them, using Sa11y, the accessibility checker built into Joomla. This finds template problems such as low colour contrast or a page without a main heading. A problem that repeats on many pages is listed once.

How fixes work
- AI suggests alt text for images and new text for unclear links and menu items, in the language of the content. You can edit each suggestion, then accept or reject it.
- YouTube and Vimeo videos get their real title from the video service. No AI and no key needed.
- Accepting changes only that one tag or link text, and writes nothing if the content changed after the scan.
- Every fix is kept in a history with the text before and after. One click undoes it, as long as nobody has changed that text since.
- Suggestions you haven't accepted yet are kept when you scan again.
- Problems AI can't fix yet are listed with a link to edit them by hand.
- 50 AI suggestions a month. Video titles and fixes you write yourself are unlimited.

Keeps up as you write
- When an editor saves an article, a Custom module or a category, they see its problems with a link to fix them.
- A "Suggest alt text with AI" button sits beside the article's image fields.

Your AI, your key
- Works with Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or OpenAI, using your own API key. You pay the provider directly, with a monthly spend cap.
- Scanning works without any AI and without any account. An image or text is sent to the AI only when you ask for a suggestion.

Your progress
- A score out of 100 that rises as fixes are accepted, a trend of recent scans, and counts by problem type.

This tool finds and fixes accessibility problems. It doesn't certify a site against any law or standard; automated checks find only part of what a full audit covers.
