If you have multiple users working in the backend of your Joomla based site , you know the problem: an item is checked out by another user, that user is not online anymore, because he has closed his browser window instead of logging out, his session has expired or the browser crashed. In Joomla 1.5, this problem can be solved only by manually checking in the checked-out item by the respective user. From Joomla 1.6, a checked-out item by other users can be checked back in, but only manually. Our new Autocheckin-plugin makes this a problem of the past. The Autocheckin-plugin automatically checks in all items that are checked out longer than you defined. Usage: install the plugin and activate it. Select in the parameters the maximum time an item should be checked out. Update: V1.2 now also checks in modules, plugins and menus! V1.3 is a bugfix release, in some cases items were not checked in. *** NEW: V1.4.1 now also works with Joomla 3.x and uses the Joomla Updater! Check in your articles, modules, plugins and menus with series 3 of Joomla. *** NEW Version 1.4.2 This mainteneace release improves compatibility with PHP 5.4

NotificationAry (NA) - get a email notification when an article or another content is added or changed You can use the plugin to notify administrators when someone submits an article. Or/and notify users about a new published content item. The extension has a great number of settings, so we'll try to describe several possible scenarios to use it. Some features Works fully or with some limitations with Joomla core articles, K2 items, DP Calendar events, HotSpots markers, JEvents events, JDownloads items and so on. Can be setup to work with most joomla components, which use standard joomla event plugin triggers or even own plugin triggers in some cases. Sending of emails can be restricted by categories, article ids, user groups, particular users, actions performed (publish/unpublish) and so on. Notifications can be turned off in the content item. So you may edit and save the article a number of times before the final save action is performed and a notification is sent. Fully customizable or hardcoded (but still customizable) mail body. Mailbody contains links to view and/or edit the updated content item (user must be logged in to follow edit links) Users can unsubscribe from notifications Previous version of the content item can be attached to the email in several formats (DIFF, MySQL to reimport, plaintext) to compare changes and to later restore the item if needed. Can send emails to a large number of users in the ajax mode, so emails are sent little by little and no timeouts or limit overcome happen . Can have many groups of rules - notifcation rules for superadmins, separate rules for regular users, separate for different components and so on. And so on... Since the plugin has a number of features it has a number of settings. Feel free to ask for support if you meet any troubles (do not understand configuration, your setting work not as expected etc.)

This plugin does a number of things, but mainly it allows the user editing the content in Joomla 1.6+ (Articles + Content Categories) to receive a notification email upon editing/creating a new content item. 2.7.0 2015-03-11 / Omar Ramos + Added toggle option to be able to turn on/off notifications on new article creation. + Added toggle option to be able to turn on/off notifications on article update. + Added toggle option to be able to turn on/off notifications on new category creation. + Added toggle option to be able to turn on/off notifications on category update. In the notification email, the previous version of the content is attached in a txt file and html file, as well as the new version. The other information about the content is also displayed in the email. You can also add additional people to be notified upon editing content (such as administrators, or other key people in charge of keeping the quality of the content intact). The plugin will also notify you with a copy of the article before it is deleted completely from the system (which should make it easier to restore something if it is deleted accidentally). You may call it a poor man's version control system (using email as the storage mechanism) but I think it will work quite nicely for a lot of sites and I hope you enjoy it! On top of the above, I've also added in some common corrections for content pasted from Microsoft Word, but I'm looking for additional examples of things that could be corrected so if you have those I'd really like to add them in so that your HTML can be cleaned automatically upon submission!

The User Article Manager (UAM) gives users the ability to create, edit and publish items from a list of articles displayed in the front end of a Joomla! Installation. The project has been forked from the popular Frontend User Article List (FUAL) extension written for Joomla! 1.5 by Felipe Quinto Busanello (the details of which can be found at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-production/content-submission/8656. From version 1.6, article categories can grant a mixture of ‘Edit Own’, ‘Edit’ or ‘Edit State’ permissions to the defined user groups. A user may have ‘Edit Own’ permissions for some categories and full ‘Edit’ permissions for others. ‘Edit State’ can be distributed to yet a third combination of user groups and categories. The full range is decided by the site administrator when setting up categories and user groups; readers should refer to the Joomla! documentation for the full details. The UAM aims, for any given user, to collect the editable articles and display them in an accesible manner.

This extension enables you to send your articles to users of your website via e-mail automatically. When you create or save an article, e-mails will be sent automatically to users. Also you can determine some filters to control sending the e-mails: -filter for articles -filter for categories -filter for usergroups -filter for users -filter for sending intro text or full text of articles Notice: I made this plugin to send articles to majority of users. So, with these filters you can only prevent some users, articles, usergroups and categories from sending (or receiving) the emails. If you want to send emails to all, without any restrictions, leave these fields empty. imageintro and imagefulltext are added to new version. UPDATE: Some users informed me that there are some problems in working the extension. I fixed these problems. Please download it again. If you still have problems with this plugins, at first please check it's settings. Then check your e-mail settings options and try with other options. Some of the problems are related to conflict with other plugins. If you change the order of the plugins on backend , these problems can be solved.
