On Joomla 4, 5 and newer versions, PWT ACL integrates with Joomla Scheduled Tasks, allowing you to automate essential diagnostics and maintenance actions directly from Joomla itself.

Compatibility

ACL Manager just makes it so much easier to deal with your ACLs. It is quite possible to do ACL work without ACL Manager, but this is just such a -huge- time saver.



Then there is also the extra features, that are built into ACL Manager, that lets you hide articles which the user is not permitted to edit. Not to speak of the module benefits as well.

My advice, go get it right away if you work with ACLs, best purchase you'll make!



I recently contacted the ACL Manager support, regarding an issue that they really could just reject since it was slightly outside their support. But within 30 minutes they had skimmed through code and worked out a way for me to deal with the issue. Brilliant support, i would never except any seller to provide support that lies "beyond" their product, but it's just such a HUGE help when they do feel charitable ;)

There's 2 things I look for when paying for a component. That's a great component to suit my requirements, and prompt service to assist with any problems.

I find as much as Joomla's ACL has continued to improve, the View vs. Actions, etc. especially when adding extensions can get quite confusing. I purchased ACL Manager to help me and got more than I bargained for. Just starting it I found myself cleaning up a lot of garbage on my site. Then fixed some issues on the core ACL, the...then looked into the issues of some major extensions and their permissions. This is a must have on every one of my sites now. Only thing I would like to see is a "get started" document manual instead of just jumping in and/or reading FAQ's.

This component offers so much more then ACL Control, allowing the cleanup of broken assets and showing a group access limitations very graphically. This will be on my basic install list from here on in. Very cheap for what you get to control and the time you save doing it.

I worked a bit with ACL manager locally, now I can see it running live.

ACL manager is just amazing, intuitive, very easy to use, component-organized, well written code, the diagnostic feature is incredible.

The very fast support, for all that the component provides its price is also very good, you will not find anything better on the market.

And all these features together, I feel that this component safe tomorrow or later will not go away for Joomla! Extensions Directory, as with other extensions, I'm sure it is a solid business.

I've been fighting an ACL problem where restricted content is visible to the public. I followed every tutorial I could find and hopelessly screwed up my permissions. I bought and installed the product which was simple and intuitive.



There was a problem with the diagnostics not understanding assets. I wrote a support ticket and barely had time to submit and open my email before the reply with the solution popped into my inbox! That was the fastest customer support I have ever had on anything.



My user permissions were straightened out with a few clicks and specific adjustments went smoothly. Now all I have to do is find out what the root cause of my problem is, BUT I have the permissions in order.

This is how ALL joomla addons should be made. Easy to use, well thought out, intuitive. The company's website is also straight forward and the user systems work flawlessly. The owners replied to my email immediately and were very accommodating. Very satisfied.

I initially tested the component in a PC (localhost), and works great!. Extremadamete easy and intuitive, even for those who know little of user management in Joomal 3. Highly recommended. They are my 5 points!

With ACL-Manager the handling of ACL for different user groups is very easy, because the gui is neatly arranged.

Checking my website acl manager found some mistakes in joomlas object table so i contacted the support in order to solve this problem. In less than one hour i got a mail with instructions to solve the problem - and it worked.

Excellent product backed by excellent support!

ACL Manager is one of those components that you just can't live without. Only one tiny issue the whole time I've been using it and I put in a support ticket at 2:30am and had the correct answer to my problem in my inbox in 5 minutes. A quick php5.ini edit (not even a component problem) and we were back in business.



Sander offers a top-notch product with unbeatable technical support. The ACL Component has far surpassed my expectations, and I'm pretty sure I'll never create another Joomla site without it. Highly Recommended. Thanks Sander!
