Introduction

Blog integration

You can post articles to your Joomla using a local blog editor.

J4 Only!

What can you do with this?

Keywords and tags are linked.
(If you add a keyword, the tag will also be registered. However, deleting a keyword will not delete the tag.)
New categories will be registered at the same time as the article is submitted.
*These are the features I checked in Open Live Writer.

There are many problems with XMLRPC API, but I added the IP address restriction feature this time, so you can use it with peace of mind.

Please see detail.

I use wordpress for blogging and its ability to interface with almost all the text editors on the planet form live writer to scribe fire. I wanted to use joomla for blogging but i did not want to login to joomla and edit inside the browser. Though joomla has cool editors like jck and jce. I wanted to do it off the browser. I started using this way back when the project was in its youth before 1.7. The first time i tried configuring it. It took me three days. I installed sef component and lost track of the link. This problem has been abated in the latest version of the plugin with the ability to choose between absolute and relative links. Thanks for the amazing plugin. I use it in all my sites, just in case!
I started off finding the ScribeFire extension for Firefox. Then I said, there must be a way to use this with Joomla. I found this little Gem and about half an hour later everything was working like a charm. Over time this will probably save an hour a week and help me double my posting rate -- just what the doctor ordered. Thanks Joomler... Just get rid of the Microsoft Livewriter info and focus more on ScribeFire specifics please. Great Stuff!

This added to 1.7 flawlessly minus my forgetting to enable the plugins and worked immediately in Scribefire. Couldn't ask for more.
