plain & simple if you want a modern forum to work with Joomla and friendly with other extensions like JomSocial then Kunena is THE choice. Beyond the code, the development team is phenomenal. I registered an account just to rate this component. It installs nicely and I had it up and running in minutes. It was easy to style and setup and has many great features!

I have been using Kunena 1.5 for quite some time. I decided it didn't fit my needs so i browsed among other Joomla / Non Joomla free forums.



Tried Phpp witch worked fine but it was very difficult to integrate it to my site, didn't want a new complete page for it. I tried Agora, SMF and ... I realised Kunena was by far the best.



Now since 1.6 I am completely satisfied with it.

The support on the forums is awesome, I had some issues that were fixed in a matter of minutes so hat off to that.



It could do better for themes & design, but other thatn that 5*

Application integration, friendly user interface, easy configuration, SEF, alot of modification is what Kunena offer. If there is better forum please tell me :D

We're using Kunena quite a while now, and with great pleasure. The developing of K1.6 was a nice surprise: a lot of new features, a lot of options and several possibilities to integrate other extentions.



Installations is extremely easy; upgrading from K1.5x versions is supported, as is a roll-back function. New is also that after configuration changes, one is able to "undo" the settings and go back to the last known state. Great!! Deleted some messages? No problem. This forum has a waste bin!



There was some trouble with the template we used for our site, and the Kunena team responded very quick and with thorough solutions. They not only pointed me in the right direction but took (a lot of) time to "spell it out" for me!



Bottom line: if you're looking for a forum on your Joomla site: don't search any longer, and get Kunena! Keep up the good work over there!!!

Kunena forums(1.5) installed without a hitch. Configuration is a little clunky, but it looks like they are working that out for the 1.6ver. Runs superfast and integrates well with CB and uddeIM.
