A good component for forums, but without a multilingual feature

Functionality
The forum has fairly good functionality, but is still not compatible with Joomla's default multilingual feature.
Ease of use
The forum settings are pretty clear, but could be a little better and simpler.
Support
Good support for the component, but some features were still not included in the component.
Documentation
The official documentation does not have information about some important issues, such as how to make a multilingual forum.
I used this to: create forums on my website and discuss interesting topics.

I haven't had the opportunity to fully test Kunena, but from what I can see, it appears to support a wide range of features and functionalit

Complicated, conflicts with Helix 3?

Functionality
Because I did not get Kunena up and running I cannot give a full impression of this, but it looks it supports lots (or all?) functionality.
Ease of use
It's complicated! Debug does not help. In my situation only Quick Reply was shown and it did not work. Reply was missing. Reason? No idea.
Support
Yes, there is nice documentation and yes, there are forums. But not really aiming on getting started and then already getting into trouble.

I used this to: I don't think I will start to use it. Screens are too filled with too many options and nobody is able to reply on a topic. I like quiet white empty layouts!

Poorly coded, overly complicated

Functionality
This is a very basic forum. Can't even add a category image. Categories must go in a "top level category" so you always have to drill down
Ease of use
This is way over complicated. The code base is a nightmare. All table based layouts. Very old school.
Documentation
Poor documentation. Lots of missing pages. It feels like this hasn't been well maintained.
I used this to: I was building a new site that required a forum but I am now looking at other options.

Kunena 5.1.x is shipped with two templates : Crypsis (build on bootstrap 2.x) and Crypsisb3 (build on bootstrap 3.x) by following Bootstrap guidelines and by setting it can use fontawesome 5.x. Feel free to opne a feature request on the forum or on github.

Functionality
Kunena is a features-rich forum extension for Joomla, including many settings and customization possibilities.
Ease of use
It is very easy to use in the front-end, and the admin area is well-designed.
Support
The Kunena forum is active and questions are answered in a reasonable timeframe.
Documentation
Actually, never needed it as the administration side is well self-documented.
I used this to: Over 10 years for the community and support forum of Community Builder.

Das Design ist ein Witz. Und die meisten Templates funktionieren auch nur mit Joomla Templates vor 10 Jahren.
Ease of use
Direkt nach einer sauberen Installation kommen Rendering Fehler. Scheint bekannt, aber wird nicht geändert. Viel anpassen kann man auch nich

Probleme wird auf jeden geschoben, nur nicht auf Kunena selber nicht, was einfach nicht sauber unter den aktuellen Versionen mehr funktionie
Documentation
Das kann man ehrlich gesagt nicht Dokumentation nennen, was man zu lesen bekommt.
I used this to: Wollte eigentlich ein Forum aufziehen. Aber das kann man seinen Kunden nicht antun. Ist vielleicht etwas für jemand, der noch eine alte HTML Seite hat und ein Retro Forum nutzt.

Functionality
Provides all features I need, and more. Deciding factor for me was that many extension providers use Kunena themselves for support forums.
Ease of use
Easy for end-users to use. Installing and setting up not so obvious, but OK for a free open-source product.
Support
OK for a free open-source product.
Documentation
Not so good, but once again, this is a free open-source product.
I used this to: Support forum for a small software company.

Functionality
A good Forum extension. You can build a complete forum with that, in a very short time.
Ease of use
Ok to use, maybe a little confuse to beginners. With time and test it's get easier. Could have a better interface.
Documentation
Have some tutorials, but they are not practical guides, only explain (more or less) the features. Could be much better in this sense.
I used this to: Build a Forum for an enterprise site integrated with Community Builder.
