Thanks to GMapFP, you can use Google Maps and Openstreet Maps (only on Joomla 4) very easily in your Joomla site. This component is natively compatible with Joomla and is available French and English.
It's compatible with Falang, XMAP, JComments and Joomla search module.
GMapFP is translated in many languages.

With this version, GMapFP is a more complete component for Google map and Openstreet map (only on Joomla 4). All this versions are available with Joomla on http and https.

Choose among full types of views:
complete (map + articles),
articles only,
catégories
groupe of catégories
map alone,
map with simple listing
contact form.

The users can submit places or manage them.

Functionalities of GMapFP:
Create as many places as you wish and locate them on the map
Rank your places by categories
Possibility to create groups of categories
Display all your places, a category or a selection of your choice (thanks to the plugin).
Configure the map according to your needs

Display the map navigation bar
Display of satellite/mixed/map/earth

This component is a Google map or Openstreet ma p(Joomla 4), but is also an element for the presentation of tourist places, restaurants and others.

GMapFP est un composant pour Joomla vous permettant de mettre en valeur un lieu et donne la possibilité de le situer très facilement sur une cartes Google Map ou Openstreet Map (seulement avec Joomla 4). Différentes version de ce composant sont compatibles nativement avec Joomla! 2.5, 3 et 4, de même pour le français et l'anglais.

Ce composant a été développé pour le site internet de l'office de tourisme de Châteauneuf-sur-Loire. Son but initial est de pouvoir présenter des lieux touristiques ou autres (hébergements, restaurants, sur une carte, et d'associer à cette géo-localisation les éléments nécessaires à leur promotion sous forme d'article.

Ensuite GMapFP a été mis à la disponibilité de la communauté Joomla. Et a fortement évolué pour s'adapter au différents besoins de chacun (pratiquement une nouvelle version toutes les semaines) . Ce qui en fait maintenant, un outil très complet et très performant.

Fonctionnalités de GMapFP :

Créez autant de lieux que vous le souhaitez et localisez-les sur la carte
Classer vos lieux dans une arborescence de catégories.
Afficher tous vos lieux, une catégorie ou une sélection de votre choix (grâce au plugin).

Configurer la carte selon vos besoins
- Affichage de la barre de navigation
- Affichage possible des vues carte/satellite/mixte/terre
- Choix de la carte de présentation
- Affichage d'informations complémentaires : Trafic routier ...
- Affichage de l'échelle
- Centrage automatique de la carte
- Zoom au mieux
- Utilisation de la roulette de la souris (ou pas) pour le zoom
- Possibilité d'afficher la zone de localisation de la carte
- Calcul de votre itinéraire

Zoom sélectionnable suivant la fenêtre de présentation.
Choix possible des informations affichable dans des info-bulle sur la carte.
Grand choix de marqueurs, que vous pouvez également ajouter les vôtres.
Géolocalisation des établissements à partir de l’adresse ou directement par déplacement du marqueur sur une carte.
Affichage en plus (si sélectionné) d'informations sur les lieux.
Téléchargement inclus de vos images de présentation.

Vous retrouverez bien entendu des champs tel que :
- Nom
- Photo
- Adresse
- Téléphone, Email, Site web
- Description détaillée
- Horaires et tarifs
- ...

Vous pouvez lier à 1 marqueur (un lieu), 1 article de Joomla ou 1 lien externe soit directement, soit par un icon.
Ce composant gère aussi la pagination, des filtres pour la partie utilisateur et administration.
Les données sont organisées par catégories et il est faisable de grouper les catégories pour mieux gérer l'affichage.

GMapFP dispose de plusieurs modes d'affichages :

Trois principaux : Toutes les données, une Catégorie, un Groupe de catégories.
Déclinés en quatre possibilités de présentation : Carte + articles, Articles + carte, Carte seule, Articles seules.
Un mode d'affichage, article seule pour 1 ID.
Un formulaire de contact
Un mode listing simple interactif.
Un formulaire de soumission de lieux
Un gestionnaire de lieux pour les utilisateurs en front-end.
Est également à votre disposition, un fichier CSS modifiable pour ajuster votre présentation, adaptation de l'affichage de la carte à la langue du site et paramètrage complet du plugin (taille de la carte, zoom, affichage itinéraire, infos trafic, photos Panoramio, barre de navigation, échelle, choix du type de carte, ...)

Compatible PHP 5 et 7.

Great Joomla Map System

This extension has been of great use to my client, GMap have built us several add on modules and worked on the site extensively, I can't praise Fabrice enough for his hard efforts.

We started with the free version, which is a great system but our needs were more complex so we went for the Pro version and added all the bells and whistles, my client now has a map that displays over 500 locations and you can use a post code to find the closest facility to you, my client loves it!!

This is the 3rd mapping script I have purchased after the other two failed to live up to their expectations and Gmapfp does everything I wanted and more! I purchased the pro version after evaluation the standard version withing the hour as it is that good.

I recommend getting the search module as well as this is really does make the map functionality complete

As for the few questions I had with the developer they were answered quickly and some small adjustments made straight away for me

100% happy with this component

Very useful map extension for anything. The plugin and parameters are amazing, you can do so much with this extension. The support is extremely prompt, I'd definitely recommend to go PRO.

I'm using this component on a site which depends on front end submission of locations; we hope to collect some hundreds of locations. GMapFP exceeded my expectations as did the support. I was a bit under pressure because of the deadline of this project but quick and adequate support really helped me through.

I tried many extensions until I found GMapFP. I was searching for a map plus a location listing for my places. It is by far the easiest and most understood extension of geolocation. It also gives a variaty of customization. Thanks!

Good day every body! Using GMAPFP nearly year on Veliki - for showing bicycle rental points in Ukraine's map. Want to say thanks to Fabrice for his support and help even out of his project scope. Fabrice quickly responds, all the time trying to do his best in searching possible conflict with other components and improvements of quality and SEO. I'd recomend to use GMAPFP.

This map component is everything you want from a map on your joomla site. Works great on 2.5. It can be set so users can add listings to the map, include images, and choose markers. I have tried several map components, some way to difficult and others not quite there. Thank you Gmapfp developers
