Linky Map is using data from Google Geochart to generate map with custom marker, region colored, with tooltips and HTML sidebar. You can create a hundred of custom maps even more. Functionality

I have been looking for how to display information on a maps with hover for a long time. Does what I want, and it extensible (bonus).

Ease of use

Easy peasy. Straightforward installation, to the point instructions. Would have liked to have a duplicate button for each region.

Support

I had to extend a map, and the support, even during the weekend, was prompt and excellent.

Documentation

Value for money

Saved me a lot of work. As a member association, it provides a must have way to present to attract new members.

I used this to: In our main site (member association) to display who are our members in Europe in an interactive way.

Functionality

I have both the world and north america versions of linky map and they work seamlessly. The user experience using the map is great.

Ease of use

I found the extension easy to use for both visitors to my website and for web setup.

Support

I had a small issue with understanding how to open links in parent window. Support was very responsive to help me resolve my issue.

Documentation

Although documentation is limited, I found the extension fairly intuitive to setup and equally intuitive for the end user.

Value for money

I evaluated a number of mapping extensions and found that LinkMaps offered the most value for the money.

I used this to: I am an unpaid volunteer that manages a worldwide "Library Telescope" program that places telescopes into libraries for checkout like a book. We use linkymaps so that visitors to our website can click on where they live to see if their local library has telescopes for checkout.

Functionality

The component gives me the functionality that I expected. It's the only component that gives me the functionality that I want.

Ease of use

Linky Map is easy to use and can be configured to the needs of the website

Support

Very good support, when I asked for Custom Vector Maps that are not in the list, the support team made all the requested Custom vector Maps.

Documentation

Good documentation, however I didn't need much support from the documentation to setup the componennt.

Value for money

Great value for money. My website is a private website and therefore I couldn't afford expensive extensions.

I used this to: Showing region's or provinces where I published hikes. A region with hikes has a link to the blog list of the hikes.

Top ! Mais ce serait bien d'avoir la possibilité de pouvoir modifier les styles des éléments, comme on le souhaite.

Ease of use

Il est facile à utiliser. On peut utiliser les cartes de Google, ou une carte de notre choix. C'est assez intuitif !

Le support est très réactif, et résout les problèmes avec une efficacité redoutable.

Documentation

Je trouve que la documentation,est un peu légère.
Il faudrait approfondir, le côté design, mais ça reste très intuitif avant tout.

Value for money

C'est raisonnable vu le produit. Je recommande ce produit, ça en vaut la peine.

The documentation is clearly explained with text and images. And clearly explained.

Value for money

I liked the price and what you get for it. The other extensions are fine too.

Functionality

Works well and maps are visually appealing. I was easily able to create a map with regions that link to other pages on my site.

Ease of use

Very easy to use. Only issue I noticed is the text editor for description will sometimes change to HTML editor when reediting region/marker.

Support

Excellent support. Very quick response times, and helped me add a custom map.

Documentation

Good. I haven't needed to use it much since using the extension is fairly straightforward.

Value for money

Lots of maps included. Offers a lot of customizability and support at a reasonable price.

Немного мудрёная структура, но разобраться реально. Возможно добавить html-код во всплывающие подсказки, сделать ссылки на нужные страницы
