Moonchip Landing Page With Contact Form is a ready made landing page contact form component you install and simply upload your own Logo and Background, it is pre-laid out for you, requires no HTML/CSS skills, made on bootstrap, mobile friendly and has a built-in contact form, it also features an optional mailchimp subscription so you can subscribe your users to mailchimp when they use your contact form.

After you install the landing page contact form component you should assign a menu item to so its accessible in the front end, you may want to create a hidden menu item so users can click to it you may want to simply provide your own links to the contact form from facebook/website twitter etc.

If your site is in English you may find the default fields are fine for your contact form and you only need to edit the send to email address, google analytics social buttons and images and mailchimp if you have enabled it.

The contact form is built on bootstrap and is mobile friendly, the contact form is directly focused on mobile devices meaning users can easily fill the fields.

If you are using mail chimp make sure you have a mail chimp API key and also grab your mail chimp list ID.

The general configuration contains some basic settings for the landing page contact form

The email address is YOUR email address. When a user submits the contact form this is the email address that will receive the message.

The from and subject will also appear in the message this may be useful if you have set up some mail rules in your email client to forward or redirect incoming email.

The show number option allows you to disable the phone number field incase you only want to capture the name and email in the contact form.

Install the component via the Joomla extension manager.

After installation, you should create a menu item and point it to the component.

You might want to create a hidden menu item if you don't want a link to appear in the front end.

There are only 2 images you need to upload for the landing page, click each one to see it in a new window.

Please make sure you name the images correctly and they are the correct size also note that the logo is a PNG image.

Upload your images via the components backend manager. Make sure the logo is a 193 x 61px transparent PNG image and the background is a jpeg image.

You can make the background image any size you want but its best not to make it to large in file size.

A good size for the background is 1280x720.

You don't need any HTML or CSS skills, simply upload the images and they will appear in place on the landing page.

The landing page is built on bootstrap and optimized for mobile

You can try it out on your mobile device by checking out the demo, the demo is live and you can send a test message through it, you can also test out the mailchimp subscribe by checking the box above the send message button.

You can edit all the text including the greyed out default text that appears in each box.

You can also change the text on the send button and the message sent page text.

The social buttons appear at the top right of the contact form.

Type in your facebook and twitter URL into each box

When a user clicks a social button the facebook or twitter page will open in a new tab so that the user doesn't navigate away from your landing page

Type in your Google Analytics code into the box for easy tracking of your landing page.

Mailchimp info:

If mailchimp subscription is enabled a check box appears on the form in the front end.
A user can check this box if they want to subscribe to your mailchimp mailing list.

After they submit the form they will be subscribed to the mailchimp list ID you set up

The email address they use in the contact form will be the one used to subscribe to your mailchimp list.
