Safety First

QC Memberships & Meetings is designed around controlled membership and booking access. Members do not receive Joomla administrator access. Active memberships connect to approved Joomla user groups only after successful payment, free completion, credit checkout, manual activation, or another approved administrator action.

Opening checkout does not create an active membership. Failed or cancelled payment attempts do not grant access, and completed PayPal captures are protected against being reused for a second membership. Renewal transitions are processed so the previous membership completes its expiration/group reconciliation before a scheduled successor becomes active.

Scheduled Meeting purchases use authoritative QCMM booking records and protected Meeting Time availability. Checkout holds are revalidated before completion, existing bookings are preserved when capacity increases, and rescheduling keeps the original booking/payment history rather than silently replacing financial records. Meeting Room/provider failures do not turn an otherwise valid paid booking into a payment failure.

Plan Custom Field values are stored with the individual subscription rather than as shared Joomla user-profile data, so separate purchases by the same customer can retain different answers. Historical Custom Field snapshots, billing records, payment records, Meeting history, and attendance data are preserved when configurations later change or advanced features are no longer available under the current license tier.

Protected Joomla user group safeguards, server-side entitlement checks, preserved historical billing records, single-use PayPal capture handling, authoritative booking validation, and lifecycle automation help prevent accidental access, booking, or billing changes. Scheduled Promotions affect eligible future checkout pricing only and never rewrite historical invoices or payment records.
