Simple and Efficient Video Management

Managing video content should be fast and intuitive. SJ Video Player offers two flexible ways to build playlists, depending on your needs.

Automatic Playlist with Folder Mode
Folder Mode is designed for speed. You upload MP4 video files to a folder on your server, select that folder in the module settings, and the playlist is created automatically. New videos added to the folder appear instantly, without manual configuration. This mode is perfect for training libraries, lessons, or regularly updated video collections.

Manual Playlist with Mixed Sources
Manual Mode gives you full control over each playlist item. You can manually add local MP4 videos, YouTube links, and Vimeo links, and arrange them exactly how you want. This allows you to combine externally hosted videos with local content in a single, consistent player.

Better User Experience for Video Content

SJ Video Player is built to keep visitors engaged. On larger screens, the video is displayed alongside the playlist, making it easy to continue watching the next video. Users can switch between videos without leaving the page.

Outstanding! I got a bit confused with local stored, but Adrian was there on the spot. Felt a bit silly after that...was easy

Documentation

Very helpfull. I noticed a bit late the video tutorial. Look at that one first, will be alot easy after that.

A video player with multiple videos

Ease of use

Playing videos from YouTube is straightforward. Playing videos stored locally is rather difficult - never got this to work..

Support

Non-existent. Sent numerous emails with NO RESPONSE ever.

Documentation

So-so at best. Leaves a lot to the imagination.

Value for money

Poor since documentation is lacking and absolutely no support is available.

I used this to: Not using it since I can't get it to work properly. I have some experts looking it over for me to see if they can get it to work properly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THE DEVELOPER IS PROVEN TO BE ALIVE. I would like our money back but can't reach anyone at the co.

Functionality

The playlists work perfectly out of the box. I did run into a database issue after moving it to the production server; my fault completely!

Ease of use

Only a couple small bumps, and I would suggest a couple tiny changes to the back-end workflow, but still easy enough to use.

Support

TOP NOTCH support! I had a issues once forcing https on the site, where YouTube vids wouldn't show. Support logged in and fixed it for me.

Documentation

I never looked for documentation, as it was all pretty self-explanatory. The two issues I ran into wouldn't be covered in any component docs

Value for money

I can't even remember how much I spent, so it couldn't have been too much. Either way, it was well worth the investment!

I used this to: Sharing multiple media files within multiple categories, and displayed on multiple pages with select few people. If forcing https on site, contact support first. They have to do some tweaks for you (at least in this version).

The installation didnt take too long. My developers watched a youtube video for installation.

Support

All the emails sent are replied with solutions. I suggest the developer to have a live chat function in the website for easy support.

Documentation

They have a detailed documentation on their website.

Very Good value for money.

Functionality

We have 50 videos, and the SJ Video Player worked perfect for us. We build playlists of videos. Users browser the pages and see the videos.

Ease of use

I just installed and created my first playlist in about 10 minutes. Pretty easy.

Support

All my emails were answered in a timely and professional manner. Plus, they helped me configure the playlists after my needs

Documentation

The extension is pretty self-explanatory, so I never accessed the docs. No need to.

Value for money
