Functionality

Very easy to use once you learn the basics. Allows very detailed control of how your website looks.

Ease of use

The template building system makes it easy to adjust the layout in a quick and understandable way.

Support

I haven't had much need for support, but there is both a discussion forum and a place to report issues even on the free version.

Documentation

Lots of videos and online documentation. Some is a bit out of date now but I'm told they are working on updating it.

I used this to: I use this on a couple of websites and love how they can be made to look so different even though both using the same framework

Functionality

I changed framework after a month of work because it conflicts wit com_users. It is not possible to deactivate the framwork cache.

Ease of use

Beautifull but there are cache conflicts. It was hard to solve, every settings was documented but the cache continued to create problems!

Support

The support is based in a github forum. Github il a little hostic to use and I prefere a framework supported by a clear and easy forum!

Documentation

The documentation is good, but if the settings the documentation suggests don't work, what's the point of the documentation?

I used this to: It was impossible to switch users or test registrations; it was as if a cache was kept active. This framework cannot be used if user switching is involved; the cache must be constantly cleared, as it conflicts with the Joomla cache.

Grosse Funktionalität mit viel Liebe auch zum Detail. Auch in der Freeversion gibt es schon viele Funktionen.

Ease of use

Nach gewisser Einarbeitungszeit relativ einfach zu nutzen. Gewisse Erfahrung im Templating muss vorhandensein.

Support

Absolult top und schnell, zuverlässig und verständnisvoll. Helfen auch bei Problemen

Documentation

Man findet sich gut zurecht in den Hilfebeschreibungen. Die Beschreibung ist auch aktuell nachgeführt.

I used this to: Viele dutzende Webseiten die ich betreue. Werden alle mit diesem Framework betreut.

Functionality

Core framework is chock full of tools and widgets. Extra features in Pro are cool but you can get by without it.

Ease of use

I love the simplicity and easy to implement and modify the template.

Support

The lead developer was awesome in his assistance in making sure two different components were working together.

Documentation

Excellent docs and demonstrating implementation. Can even obtain the demo QuickStart and reverse engineer your own training.

I used this to: Rapid website deployment for my own sites and my friends, both blogging and commercially.

Functionality

The Astroid Framework is excellent. Their Widgets and Layout Manager make it possible to mimic page builders without creating messy URLs.

Ease of use

There is a learning curve but once you learn about the layout manager and the widgets, becoming extremely creative is easy.

Support

The support forum is excellent. Very helpful people. They obviously take a lot of pride in this framework and want us to succeed.

Documentation

One word on their documentation: WOW. Need I say more? The documentation is extensive and growing. I am very impressed.

I used this to: I am doing my first website with Astroid. It is a multilingual site in six languages so far.
