YRVote is a plugin for Joomla 4 that allows to rate articles and displaying the results of all votes. YRVote uses microdata for search engines and ratings of articles will be displayed with the stars in the search engine results.

YRVote can work in two modes

  • Instead default Joomla Vote plugin - YRVoe is integrated into the menu options for articles, categories and in the article options.
  • Anywhere in the article by inserting {yrwote}

YRVote include 5 different styles of stars
- Blue
- Red
- Green
- Yellow
- Purple

In the plugin settings you can set the style of the stars and set other parameters
- Show/Hide the total number of votes and ratings
- Color of text
- Displayed text after the vote
- Size of stars
- Alignment (left, right, center)

Functionality
Does exactly what it is supposed to do ! provide old school vote system to all joomla 4.x site with the possibility to customize the vote.
Ease of use
Work out of the box, install the plug in and that it !, if you have any issue just check that the plug in is activated in your menu
Support
Very cool programmer who help us to display the star exactly as our old template does on Joomla 3.5.11
Documentation
Present on the web on the site of the software dev but honestly dont need so much reading. in many case you just have to install the plug in
Value for money
Just awesome, have you check the price of this extension ? We earn nothing with our website so its really welcome/
I used this to: for our own blog Crashdebug (take a look), he allow user to give their feed back on each article of the site, and the result of vote are displayed in our homepage.

Functionality
Works great, an improvement over the core Joomla Vote Plugin. Happy with the functionallity
Ease of use
Very easy to use it. Just insert the plugin tag where you want to show star rating. You can also use it as a replacement for the core plugin
Support
The developer responds quickly to emails, he also mentioned support for Joomla 4 will be coming
Documentation
Good documentation. It shows how to install, display, how to use it.
Value for money
A simple price of €5 is definitely worth it for a nice extension like this
I used this to: Rate articles and displaying the results of all votes + microdata for search engines

It does what it says. Perfect for schema aggregateRating markup.
Ease of use
It is very easy to use it. Just insert where you want to show star rating.
Support
Excellent and quick. I asked 4-5 times several questions and they responded (and solved them) in a few hours.
Documentation
Excellent documentation. It shows how to install, display, how to use it.
Value for money
Maybe it is not free, but i think 4.90€ + tax is an excellent price.
I used this to: Schema aggregateRating markup. Using microdata format and yrvote plugin i managed to mark up correctly my content.
