MMS helps Associations, Clubs, Unions, Foundations and even companies to administrate their members on the website. Integrated in the Joomla! ACL, with groups and rights for every function. Members edit their own profile, the administration approves new members. Connecting to Administration software for accountancy, for example to e-Boekhouden.nl and Conscribo.

Originally the solution was developed by a group of 70 Dutch Associations, under the name of "Ledenadministratie Online" ("LAO" as we call it). LAO only worked on a specific technical server setup, and the extension couldn't be downloaded. However it is very usuable for other associations in Europe, so it was decided that the software should be open-source and multilingual. We are going to develop the open-source version in the same manner as we did Ledenadministratie Online: by crowdfunding.

Maintained continuously, most recent addition is the function to fullfill GDPR requirement: do not keep member data unlimited.

Languages available: English, Deutsch, Nederlands, Norsk, French, Polish.

My Member Software is de frontend administratie component voor verenigingen en clubs. Continu verder ontwikkeld en met ongeveer 100 verenigingen die er gebruik van maken is het de ideale software voor de Secretaris. Het neemt veel werk uit handen. Nieuw: de penningmeester zal blij zijn met koppeling naar het online boekhoudpakket Conscribo en e-Boekhouden ! De plugin om die koppeling te maken, staat in de JED onder de naam "My Member Synchronization".

Functionality
The pre-configured version fits good to our administration. Everuthiong needed is present and has been thought of.
Ease of use
For me as a non-joomla-user it is a steap learning curve. However with the help of the creator we. now have a fine administration

Again as a non-joomla-user it takes a while to understand things, but so far all is present.

Everything we need is available in My Member Sofware. The preconfigured solutions is very good for our purposes.

Value for money
Yes, absolutely! The package is not expensive and it delivers what is pormised.
I used this to: To get a web-membership database for our Family organization, including the overview of the yearly support payments (so we can stop using different, very often not synchonised, spreadsheet solutions).

We use mymembers to register new members and to support the members to update their contact information. Also synchro data with Conscribo.

The system is plain to use and quite flexible to configure. E.g. open fields for additional CRM info. Members can change their info.

Documentation is certainly there, however, advanced configuration needs support from developer or tech skills.

Functionality
Scaleable for small organizations or large. Additional options for downloading specific reports would be helpful in our scenario.
Ease of use
I had trouble setting up the backend due to the unique nature of the organization and my limited abilities.
I did not find it intuitive.
Support
I find when I needed help, the developer was there to answer the question via email or Skype. Definitely 5 Star!

When needed I could find the necessary information in the online documentation.
Value for money
Well worth it. The support alone goes well beyond what you pay.
I used this to: A Speed Skating Club: for member registration and skater management. The developer helped us set up unique formulas to calculate the membership fees, including discounts for families.

We administered our members in Excel, now being a professional organization with 500+ members, Excel was no longer an adequate tool. MMS is.

It is a very ease to use tool with a self-service section for our members where they maintin part of their personal details

Great support on internet and by the developer. The whole project was realized in about 5 weeks from scratch to operation

As you might expect. You find all necessary documentation on internet and when not, the developer helps you out.
Value for money
Excellent value for money, bearing in mind that we have an API to connect MMS to our accountingsystem
I used this to: We are a Dutch cooperative association, in the process of building a privately-owned windmill. A 4.5 million Euro project. We decided for MMS because of its functionality and its flexibility to register and maintain more than 70 member data fields. It works great.

It's compatible with all of the other extensions we're using already. It all fits together perfectly.
Ease of use
With the documentation and support of Mark, it's easy to install and get everything running in less than 10 minutes.
Support
The support Mark is delivering is great. When you're in trouble or have urgent matters he will help you out. He is responding pretty fast.

There is a great documentation wiki available with most touchpoints.

Absolutely! There are so many options. You can fill in your own puzzle by adding extensions to your own liking.
I used this to: We use this for our member administration and the intranet for our board and members. Aspirant members can sign up easily and it's in the system directly without copy-pasting data from other forms.
