Introduction

DevArt Article Photo is a lightweight Joomla 6 component designed for fast editorial image preparation directly inside the Joomla administrator.

It helps editors quickly create optimized, article-ready images for news portals, magazines, blogs, and high-traffic publishing websites without external image editing tools.

The component supports JPG, PNG, and WEBP uploads and generates clean optimized output for consistent editorial publishing workflows.

DevArt Article Photo focuses on speed, simplicity, and practical editorial workflows, allowing administrators and editors to prepare properly sized images directly inside Joomla without relying on third-party desktop tools.

DevArt Article Photo has been integrated into DevArt Article Tools as a child component (comdevartarticletoolsphoto), starting with Article Tools 2.1.0.
This standalone JED listing is no longer maintained. New features, fixes, and Joomla updates are released only through DevArt Article Tools (pkg_devartarticletools).
Existing installations of the standalone Article Photo package may continue to work, but we recommend planning a move to DevArt Article Tools for ongoing support. Article Tools detects legacy DevArt Article Photo installs and provides optional migration guidance; legacy products are never removed automatically.
For new sites, install DevArt Article Tools instead of this standalone extension.
