DevArt Article Tools is a Joomla 6 editorial suite for news portals, magazines, and content-heavy websites. Version 2.1.0 is the first public package release, expanding the original content plugin (1.0.3) into a complete administrator and frontend toolkit — while keeping Positions and Intro on the familiar content plugin runtime.

What you get

Positions & Intro — place Joomla modules inside articles via inside1 and inside2 positions; optional intro typography without template overrides
Article Photo — server-side image generation and administrator workflow
Social Cards — branded Open Graph image cards for articles
Social Share — lightweight Facebook, X, WhatsApp and Copy Link buttons, plus Open Graph / Twitter Card metadata
Recent Articles — bounded, fast administrator article list for very large sites
Authors — author groups, profiles, virtual authors, SEF pages, list and card layouts
Schema — optional Article JSON-LD (system plugin, disabled by default)
Suite dashboard — central hub with Settings, Schema options, and Legacy Migration guidance

Built for real editorial sites

Joomla 6 native architecture — each child app has its own Options, ACL, and enable/disable state
No jQuery or external frontend frameworks
Lightweight Positions/Intro output with no external CSS dependency
Cache- and CDN-friendly frontend rendering
Schema and Open Graph respect published state, access levels, and publish windows
Legacy DevArt Article Photo, Social Cards, and Backend Tools are detected but never silent-uninstalled

Administrator experience
Install once as pkg_devartarticletools. The suite shell links to Article Photo, Social Cards, Recent Articles, Social Share, and Authors. A Recent Articles module is placed on the Control Panel on install (publish via Recent Articles → Options → Installer).

Languages
Administrator language packs: en-GB, el-GR, fr-FR, de-DE, es-ES, it-IT, pt-PT, cs-CZ, nl-NL, pl-PL, ru-RU, uk-UA, ja-JP, tr-TR, zh-CN.

Upgrade from plugin 1.0.3
Install the 2.1.0 package once. Positions and Intro settings migrate automatically from the legacy plugin to the suite component. Future updates use Joomla native package updates. No manual database fixes are required.
