Functionality

Works very well and has strong upload and reporting features.

Ease of use

Very easy to use with the right amount of detailed settings, maybe could even use a few more.

Support

100% GREAT... George is the man. Spend the money the support itself is worth twice the amount.

Documentation

Good Documentation for installation and initial setup, could use greater detail on extended functionality, but NO complaints.

Value for money

WAY worth it.

Functionality

Each business has full profile (microsite) and can feature offers and events that are linked. Keywords and description for each listing.

Ease of use

Very user-friendly. Most features can be setup in the back-end. For some things you need to adjust the files but no big deal.

Support

Fast and courteous support. Didn't waste time going back-and-forth with emails. Understood what I needed and helped me within an hour.

Documentation

I didn't have to use it :-) but it seems to be well done and comprehensive

Value for money

Great value for the money! They release upgrades with more and more improvements.

I used this to: Directory of business for downtown core. Some of the businesses don't have a website and this allows them to have a micro page with proper profile. It is very user-friendly so the client will be able to maintain it in house.
I really like how the events and offers tie together.

J-BusinessDirectory would have to be the best component on the JED. It simply works!

J-BusinessDirectory works 'out of the box' and is easily customised.

Thier responses to my queries are second to none. Impressive. !!!

Documentation

Documentation is comprehensive but most of the settings are intuitive.

Value for money

A lot of work has gone into J-BusinessDirectory. Has saved me a lot of time, and money.

I used this to: I use J-BusinessDirectory to develop a NFP directory and Destination Marketing for a small town tourism project.
I am planning to use J-BusinessDirectory, along with virtual domains, to develop a regional Tourism Data Warehouse.

Functionality

The tool I originally downloaded had a few bugs. They are continually improving and the latest version had everything I needed.

Ease of use

Super easy to install and use. And if any problems, the Customer Service is STELLAR!! Totally recommend.

Support

These guys are AMAZING! They are super quick to respond and solve issues. I am SO SO impressed!

Documentation

Some extensions don't come with much documentation. I was impressed with the documentation provided for J-Business Directory.

Value for money

I would absolutely use this extension again if I need a business directory. Worth every penny.

Functionality

It's pretty powerful, but does suffer from shortcomings here in the US where knowledge of US standards is lacking. Authorize net for example

Ease of use

Not too bad, though some of it doesn't always make logical sense. Has a medium learning curve.

Support

APPALLING. Worst support ever. Free extensions better supported. SLOW, can you say S-L-O-W, response time on tickets, if they even answer.

Documentation

OK - I mainly used the ticketing system as my questions generally weren't answered in dox.

Value for money

Setting aside the support - good. Add in support - not worth a dime.

I used this to: A trade membership site. Clients are reasonably happy as their past site was horrible, so anything is an upgrade.
