Great Extension, Great Support

This is the first time I have bothered to review an extension. I have wasted a lot of money on other directory extensions and all have frustrated and disappointed. I wish I had found J Business Directory first! It is easy to install and configure, has good documentation, cms junkie provide excellent support and the functionality is comprehensive. Does everything I and my client needed. Quality. I would have no reservations recommending this extension.

We've tried multiple business directories in the past and most fell short of features and/or functionality in some way or another until we found this one. This one had everything we needed right out the box. The accompanying template made very little work for us to do because it already looked great. The admin interface is very intuitive and easy to dive right into. We had some trouble getting the 3.0 version installed and set-up properly on our hosting environment but support was fantastic in fixing/addressing our issues quickly.

This directory is both easy to install and use. The results are a very professional looking, well laid out business directory that you would expect to have payed big bucks for. I purchased both the template and component and I'm overjoyed with both. Quite often you want to personalize a component to match your needs,but you don't know how to do it. Well the support from CMSJunkie is incredible, they really want your website to be the best it can be and their hands on support is second to none. Many thanks

I had been searching and reviewing different directory components for a while and always been bitterly disappointed by the hopeless layouts they offered then I found J-BusinessDirectory with its modern clean tabular layout, it fitted perfectly with what I wanted. It is very robust, customer service is excellent, I had a couple of queries and they were answered and dealt with straight away. I highly recommend this component for your directory website.

Where I had a few hiccups at the beginning (mostly down to my lack of experience as web designer) mainly with set up I have to say the support was excellent. George came back with solutions to my problems and now it is up and running and I am now looking forward to getting stuck into populate it.

Only thing I would say is the documentation could be a bit more intuitive as there were a couple of things in there that I didn't grasp (again could be down to me!!). I think though on the whole it is a great piece of kit and I applaud the developers.

I think we need to support these developers as much as possible and that is why I am happy to have gone for this paid component.

I had the need to list a large amount of business and the ability to find by category as well as name. I found this on the Jed and looked at it. After playing with the Demo it seemed exactly what I needed.

It was easy to install and comes with its own control panel allowing easy entry. I did have some teething problems but the support from George could not of been more helpful or responsive. Although in different timezones, I could post a question and have the answer the next morning. There was a new update due out which George sent to me as it addressed some of my issues prior to its general release the following week. I love this component and will be using more products from these guys. Worth every cent I paid for it!!!
