JoomISP is a component for Joomla! which offers various Internet Services such as Webhosting, Server rental or VoIP.
All offers, orders, customers and domains can be managed via the Joomla! backend. Customers can also view their orders in the Joomla! frontend.

With various plugins for Server Control Panels for example Confixx, Plesk, ispCP, i-mscp, Cpanel/WHM, ISPConfig and LiveConfig, an easy creation of webhosting accounts is possible.
With the Domain Registrar Plugins for example InterNetworX the ordered domains gets registered with few clicks.

Frontend Features

JoomISP ist eine Joomla! Komponente mit welcher Sie verschiedene Internet Leistungen wie Webhosting, Serververmietung oder VoIP anbieten können.
Alle Angebote, Bestellungen, Kunden und Domains können über die Joomla Administration verwaltet werden. Kunden können Ihre Bestellungen auch über das Joomla! Frontend einsehen.

Mit verschiedenen Plugins für Server Control Panels z.B. Confixx, Plesk, ispCP, i-mscp, Cpanel/WHM, ISPConfig und LiveConfig können einfach Webhosting Accounts angelegt werden.
Mit den Domain Registrar Plugins z.B. InterNetworX können die bestellten Domains mit wenigen Klicks registriert werden.

Functionality
Funktioniert inkl. Gsales & LiveConfig Anbindung wie beschrieben.
Ease of use
Man muss sich mit der Erweiterung schon auseinandersetzen. Die Dokumentation wächst und die Tooltips in JoomISP geben aber gute Hinweise.
Support
Unfassbar, am Sonntag um 9:21 hatte ich eine Antwort. Am Montag konnte ich meine Homepage online schalten. DANKE
Documentation
Noch ausbaufähig, aber es wird langsam. Die bisherigen Einträge sind mit Bildern gut beschrieben.
Value for money
Fand es zuerst schon sehr sportlich, jetzt im Nachhinein ist das Gesamtpaket aber definitiv sein Geld wert.

New Developers Have Little Interest in U.S. Customers

Functionality
We have used the software for quite some time because there is nothing comparable for Joomla.
Ease of use
We could not purchase the updated software because credit cards and PayPal are not accepted from U.S. customers. So add on a $45 bank fee.
Support
Very quick to respond but they did not solve the issue related to the update. They only accept wire transfers which means an additional $45.
Value for money
It's the only option available through Joomla and there are a lot of great features.
Owner's reply: Because of many expensive recharges our payment service provider offers only a small number of payment possibilities for US customers.
Unfortunately, we can not influence this and rely on the experience of our payment service provider.

it does, what it´s developed for. there´s no bullshit description it´s doing all as described.

It´s a bit difficult, understanding the use of categories and facts. setting up sample data will help for that. it´s build logical and simpl

compentent support during office time - unfortunately they gave me support on sunday late evening on an configuration error. thumbs up!
Documentation
there´s a docu?? never mind about that - as it´s logicaly build and easy to use, i didn´t need to docu.
Value for money
i bought the small solution without integration into any admin-panel. for 30€ thumbs up - no-one can build this value in such a short time.
I used this to: selling webhosting, VPS and some other stuff.
manual development done by JoomISP: CSS adaption with 6 columns instead of 1. Just sent them an email, got an offer about that for a really valueable price and got solution afters a couple of hours.

Little thought put into user flow

It is difficult for customers to use to order a service. It is clear as mud as to how to create a service. Plus was promised a year ago extension for ISPConfig but never received now wants us to pay for an "upgrade" Really? I expect this from Microsoft but not from here.
Owner's reply: Thanks for your feedback. The plugin for ISPConfig is officially released now and was already available as beta for a while. I would also be happy to hear what problems you had with setting up JoomISP - so you are welcome to send us an e-mail.

Poor setup for gaining new customers

I was very interested in this extension after reading the reviews. Unfortunately that interest disappeared after visiting their site. No Forum access unless you have purchased the extension - as far as visitors go, there is NO forum at all. I only think there is a forum due to it being mentioned in a previous review.

No documentation on the site - I cant even tell if this is going to be suitable for me as I cannot read any documentation to get an idea of its capabilities - I only wish to sell subdomains of my own domain, and cannot tell if it is within this extensions mandate.

I sent a question on the 'contact us' and have not received and answer in 4 days. Not a great way to entice new customers.



I would recommend the ability for people who havent purchased the software to at least be able to VIEW the support forums just in case any questions they have are already answered there.

Bought the component, good solid code made in E.U.

Unfortunatly the payment plugins and server plugins are very restricted. Most of the major payment methods besides paypal are not available.
