Translate your site in multiple languages in the easiest way. The Falang component allows you to manage all your content translations, even the content of all your components/modules, on your web site.

Joomla 3.9 and 3.10 are Falang 3.10.X version last version 3.10.5 (2022/05/18)

Joomla 4 compatible is Falang 4.0.X version last 4.0.5 (2022/02/08)

Since the 2.0 vesion show you the status of component translation directly in joomla for menu, article, module.... you can easy extend it for almost all components.

The component is so flexible that you can easily add new components at a later date and then translate the new content.

With extensions you can translate k2, aiContactSafe, hikashop, Redshop, jDownload, phocaDownload ....

The free version has a backlink to faboba site. You can remove it if you upgrade to a basic or standard version without losing your translations and parameters.

The Free version has some limitations.

Falang doesn't use the default language system of Joomla 2.5 and 3.5. You don't have to specify a language for each content article or menu item (which results in a huge amount of duplication).

Did you ever ask yourself how you can create a multi-lingual website without copying every single item and re-creating them in the new language? Then Falang is one of the possible answers to this problem.

Falang was a fork of Joomfish 2.1.7 which has been re-written to be compatible with Joomla! 2.5 and Joomla! 3.9

Functionality
An extension to easily manage multi languages web sites, without having to duplicate articles and menus in all the languages.
Ease of use
The extension Falang is very easy to use, it is self explaining respectively there is a good documentation on the web site for the beginning
Support
great support, also on an difficult case under Joomla! 4. Stéphane from Faboba, kept helping until the problem was resolved.
I used this to: I use it on all web sites that used joomfish in the past... and a few new ones

Functionality
It's better than Joomla's core multilingual! Translations ext. should work like this, very generic and applicable to all kinds of extensions
Ease of use
Super easy. You can not miss whatever you look for. Clear, simple, just enough options. Even free version is fantastic, payed even better!
Support
Stephane provides support right away. Good response, polite answers, cooperative. But I doubt you'l need support! :)))
Documentation
All clear, written on the site, though you barely need it. Just dive into Falang!
I used this to: All sorts of sites. I install it as default component, along with few others. It provides confidence that you build something very serious, offering translated website with price for developing not changed, since it's so easy to use. Great job!

Top, with many helpful functions. Absolutely worth the money for the standard version.

Reasonably self explanatory in use. In case of doubt the world class support of the developer helps.

Functionality
Everything was easy to setup. I have struggled a little with language switcher but Stéphane point me in the right direction.
Ease of use
Very easy to use, even for beginners. Not having any problems in the process

Very quick and helpful. Great job! Stéphane seems like a guy who really wants to help
Documentation
I think it's good, but it could be a little more detailed for beginners
I used this to: Translation of website with multiple languages. I am very satisfied with this plugin. I tried Polylang, but it was very slow for me.

Functionality
The extension is very intuitive to use and makes it much easier to setup and manage multilingual websites in joomla.
Ease of use
Very user friendly and easy to understand. Every item is just a click away to start the translating process.
Support
World class support. Simply put.
If you have an issue they really put in all their time to fix it for you and fast as well.
Documentation
Documentation is OK. It’s actually pretty straight forward so documentation isn’t really needed. That’s how easy it is.
I used this to: I am using this for a multilingual corporate website and will use this extension whenever I have a website that needs multiple languages.

Functionality
With a simple language switcher people can see all the versions. Easy the translation, which allows to mantain coherence
Ease of use
Easily placeable in any part of your site. Just activate it, place the switch, and click to translate in the Falang plugin!

Stephanie helped a lot, everytime I needed them they were there!
Documentation
I used this to: My artist site, to share in ita and eng my D&D material: people have access to both versions with a simple switch on the site

It does exactly what you need, in a very efficient way. Is a plugin that extends Joomla core language functionality.
Ease of use
The plugin has a very clear and user friendly environment. It is very easy to add the translations of articles, categories, menu items etc.

I used this to: Usually I work with Joomla core language functionality. But there are some reasons to use this plugin. The main reason for me is when I have a website with much content and I dont want to dublicate it in order to make it bylingual. I used the paid version for more capabililies

Functionality
Simplified and stable handling of multi-language sites. I have used both the general Falang extension and the SP Page Builder Translator.
Ease of use
One of the easiest to use Joomla extensions I have come across. This goes for both Faboba Falang and SP Page Builder.
Support
Attentive support with a quick reply to my question and generously sharing of experience beyond the scope of Faboba, to resolve my issue.

I could easily find the information I needed to get started using Faboba's extensions (Falang + SP Page Builder)
