Use this tool to transfer files or database items between two different Joomla! sites, or duplicate items within your live site. This is a 'mass' copy/paste tool necessary for ALL Joomla! administrators.

In the old Joomla! 1.5 when you wanted to transfer database items to a different Joomla, just an export/import of the required database tables would do the job. With the new Joomla! 1.6, 1.7, 2.5, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, 6.x and above, this is no longer possible. This tool is doing just exactly that.

Also suitable for upgrading Joomla! 2.5 to 3.x, or 4.x. or 5.x or 6.x

SP Transfer does exactly what it is designed to do. More than we expected.
Ease of use
It is easy to use and the options for transferring files are exceptional.
Support
Excellent support. We asked - they answered. We hit snags - they helped.
Documentation
Documentation is online and quite helpful. Everything is explained.
Value for money
Excellent value for the task. Well worth the price.
I used this to: We transferred over 10,000 files quickly and easily from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3.0. This was our last hope as we were told a developer was needed. We are awestruck by how effective SP Transfer works. This allowed us to set up a complete staging site with files.

Simply the Best! Five Stars.

Functionality
Plenty of options to transfer virtually any tables and all Joomla core content.
Ease of use
Easy as pie, just setup the source database details in the options and then it lists the tables that you can choose to transfer (tick boxes)
Support
Didn't need any, exactly the way it should be.
Documentation
The fields all have hover tooltips explaining what its for and what to enter into it. That's the best documentation to use.
Value for money
I'm a designer and one of our clients had a flaw in their old Joomla installation, I just saved hours and hours for a small fee.
I used this to: Migrating data to fresh installations removing errors and glitches that were introduced in various update paths. I don't normally write reviews, it's taken me longer to write this that transfer all the data across to a clean installation, Good job on this extension!

Very powerfull with very well ajusted functionalities.

No doubt I would have bought this extension before if I knew it was existing !
I used this to: I am building a new site with Jommla 3.3.6 to replace the previous one running with Joomla 2.5. This extension is made exactly for those who dont want to take risks in migrating. Its simple, very quick and very efficient.
This is really a must have extension for this kind of job

After trying other extensions in order to update my joomla 2.5 to 3.3.6 this was the best solution. SP Transfer is awesome. Thank you very much.

Old Geekster here, broke my upgrade install from 2.5.2 to 3.3 but wanted to keep the data and it was a bit messy so I emailed SP Transfer about the process and they responded fast and helpfully. Bought the module and Pana helped me get through the xfer (OMG real humans!)

Now I am Happy old geekster. - I went to the trouble of registering here just to give them a pat on the head, way to go Pana!

I tried with the wrong version and failed. I wished i could have gotten my money back for it, but that was my fault.



Someone contacted me back within hours to help me get it working, but it was my fault and a cache issue. After walking away and restarting WAMP everything did transfer properly. This is a must have.

I had an issue with joomla updating so i used this tool to install a fresh copy of the newest joomla and then moved my data. Great tool!

I used SP Tansfer and it's sister SP Upgrade to bring a 1.5 site up to 3.x. Since beginning the upgrade and testing new templates and so on, many new members had signed up. Using this software I could pull just the new members over in a few minutes. I didn't have to do the whole upgrade procedure again.
