Shack Article Layouts allows you to display your articles in many attractive layouts. This extension is perfect for creating homepages, or landing pages for blogs, portfolios, testimonials and other content.

You have the freedom to choose how to display your articles, as well as what to display from the articles. You can display images from articles, some or part of the article's content, links and read more buttons included in the article, or authors, dates, and so much more. Additionally, you can pick from several stylish layouts and organize the number of columns and rows to fit your needs.

Multiple layout options

Shack Article Layouts comes with 5 design options: default, magazine, wide, blocks and cover. These control the placement and style of your images and content.

Decide which content to display

Shack Article Layouts has options so you can decide which articles to show, and how to display them. You can select article categories, ordering, quantity, layout and much more.

Display Options

Shack Article Layouts has detailed options for images and text. For example, you can choose which images to show (intro image, full article image, or first image from your article's content). You can also choose how much text to show and where it's pulled from.

Custom color support

You can choose a custom color to apply to the read more button and other parts of your layout. This allows you to quickly and easily match your layout to your site's design.

All your articles can use the same height

Shack Article Layouts comes with a "Match height" setting that ensures all your article boxes are the same height, no matter how long the content is for each item.

Content plugin support

Shack Article Layouts comes with native content plugin support, which means that it can show anything loaded by plugins on your site: this often includes video, audio and other media files.

Functionality

This product does what I was looking for. I'm able to display articles in a category with pictures and text, not just a list of titles.

Ease of use

It was a little hard to configure how I wanted, but thanks to great support I was able to get it just the way I want.

Support

Fantastic. Joomlashack support is quick and consistent. They respond to all questions, even my stupid ones.

Documentation

The documentation on this product is a little thin, but usable. I was looking for a more step by step procedure.

Value for money

Great. This is well wort the money and works great with Shack Article Manager Pro

I used this to: providing a display of subscriber articles based on the category selected. It looks great! pictures and text, not just a list of articles.

Functionality

It does what it says on the tin, displays articles in a different way and gives you more options for the layout

Ease of use

Couldnt really be easier to use, just install and refer to the article in a module and then bam it works

Support

I made a mistake with a layout and was promptly put right so I did use Support and they were prompt and effective

Documentation

It doesnt really need much as i said but what is there is up to date and explains what you need to do if you are not familiar with Joomla

Value for money

I have an "all you can eat" subscription and use Joomlashack tools whenever I can

I used this to: Adding variation to a site i took over from someone else. It needed a lift as it was dull. The new layouts work great and the customer loved it

Functionality

Shack Article Layouts let you set a teaser for your articles in a very attractive way… actually 5 stunning designs!

Ease of use

By specifying the categories, the number or articles and the layout you are ready to go. You can fine-tune each detail in the configuration.

Support

One get spoiled by Joomlashack-support, they are very competent, always friendly and always fast responding.

Documentation

Documentation is top-notch and it covers every aspect: technical requirements, installation, configuration, "how to use".

Value for money

Totally worth it especially with Joomlashacks "Everything Club" hard to beat offer that let you use 30 extensions and 20 templates!

I used this to: I use multiple copies of the module on a couple of pages with different content and different layout. It's easy to customize very differently each module or you can use the same layout in order to keep the same design. There are quite a few options in the configuration.
