List of supported Custom Fields

File Upload
A Drag & Drop File Upload Field that allows you to upload any kind of files in the backend and display a download link in the front-end. Define an upload folder, limit the total number of files the user is allowed to upload, limit maximum allowed size for each uploaded file and restrict the allowed file types.

YouTube Field
The YouTube Field allows you to enter a YouTube URL in the backend and display a YouTube Video Player in the front-end. The YouTube Field provides you with all of the customization options of the YouTube player such as YouTube Video width and height, YouTube AutoPlay feature, YouTube video controls.

HTML5 Video
Create a field to display an HTML5 video player that can play a local or a remote video (MP4, Ogg, WebM) file.

HTML5 Audio
Create a field to display an HTML5 Audio Player that can play a local or a remote audio (MP3, Wav, Ogg) file.

Facebook Video
Create a field to embed a Facebook Video.

Functionality

I've used the free ACF and been impressed but the pro version takes Custom Fields to a new high. Thanks Tassos

Ease of use

Very easy to use out of the box. Once unzipped the coponent loaded like any other Joomla extension.

Support

Only had to use due to my ineptitude but support was quick and efficient

Documentation

The documentation is clear and straight forward,, a model of how it should be done

I used this to: In the first instance I used the gallery function - very easy to use and effective

Très simple d'utilisation, il suffit de choisir le bon champ et c'est parti !

Support

Tassos est très réactif. J'ai échangé récemment avec lui sur un problème, et il m'a donné la solution en à peine 5 heures ! (en anglais)

Documentation

Documentation claire et complète. Attention cependant, tout est en anglais, mais des captures d'écrans sont là pour aider :)

I used this to: Principalement pour faciliter à mes clients la gestion des photos / galeries photos avec le champ personnalisé "Gallery". J'utilise aussi le champ Vidéo/Youtube. Pour les autres, je ne m'y suis pas penché car je n'en ai pas encore eu besoin !

Functionality

This extension adds more valuable custom fields to the catalog of existing fields, e.g. a Map or picture handling for galleries.

Ease of use

Setting the fields up is following the same steps as the OOB custom fields from Joomla, so setup is easy and that's it. Nothing else needed.

Support

Outstanding! Tassos helps quickly and patiently whenever I reached out to him and resolved all my issues in no time.

Documentation

Everything is well documented and the articles are evolving and growing.

I used this to: Showing POIs on a map as well as using it as upload-tool for a gallery in YooTheme using dynamic content. Works like a charm! :)

I haven't needed to use the documentation too much, since the tool is so easy to use!

I used this to: Using Advanced Custom fields, I can extend how my website is used. Sticking with core Joomla and adding this little gem of a plugin gives my users the ability to easily update their content. With the pro version there are so many options available to extend.

Functionality

Entering different types of structured data on a Joomla! website is and displaying it is not that easy. This extension makes it simple.

Ease of use

I was off with it in a few minutes. If you know how to handle fields, this extension will work for you out of the box.

Support

One day the gallery function stopped working, Tassos solved it within 1 day. Could not be done better!
