Shops, restaurants, practices, salons, hotels, municipalities and other local organisations whose visitors mainly want to know one thing: are you open right now. And the developers who maintain those sites and want hours, holidays and exceptions manageable by the client.

• Currently Open / Closed — a live status above or below the schedule, checked against your hours and exceptions, with a custom message for each state.
• Weekly schedule — per-day opening and closing times, closed days, and optional dates shown next to the weekdays.
• Exception days — override any single day (a holiday, late-night shopping, a renovation week) without touching the weekly schedule.
• Recurring exceptions — set a date such as Christmas Day or a national holiday once, tick recurring, and it applies every year automatically.
• Upcoming exception notice — an optional banner that warns visitors about a special schedule coming up within the next 60 days.
• Show only today's hours — a compact view for headers and sidebars.
• Highlight today with custom styling — set the colours, font weight and style of today's row.
• Notes above and below — add a short line such as "By appointment only" next to the schedule.
• Content plugin — show or hide content in articles and modules based on the current open or closed status, for example a "call us now" block that only appears while you are open.
• Google microdata — built-in schema.org output with business type, address, contact details, logo and price range, so search engines can read your hours.
• Multilingual — full language pack support with English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian and more, and per-site string overrides.
• Date and time settings — first day of the week and timezone, and no footer credit in the module output.

How it works
Install the package, or use Install from Web and search for "Joomill".
Assign the module to a position and menu items, and publish it.
Enter your weekly hours, add your exception days, and write your open and closed messages.
The module shows the right status and schedule from then on, including your recurring holidays, every year.
