EB Ajax Search is an AJAX powered LIVE search (Hikashop, Virtuemart, SP Page Builder, and K2 Compatible) module that will boost user experience by providing a user-friendly ajax powered search form. It works like an Auto-suggest Google search. It's very flexible as every element is fully configurable.

⚡ Phoca cart support is now added
⚡ SP page builder is supported now so the search can be made from SP Page builder contents.
⚡ HIKASHOP & K2 Compatible module so it can search from HikaShop products and K2 items along with Native Joomla Articles.

Super rozwiązania dla HikaShop, ale nie tylko. W lot wyszukuje produkty.
Ease of use
Proste w użyciu, konfiguracja intuicyjna. Instalowanie poprzez moduł daje duże możliwości.
Support
Dobre wsparcie - rozwiązali problem z polskim fontami w miarę szybko.
Documentation
Dokumentacja nie była mi potrzebna, na tyle intuicyjne rozwiązanie, że nie musiałem korzystać.
Value for money
Wart swojej ceny - biorąc pod uwagę, że można zastosować to w sklepie - zwrot natychmiastowy :)

Functionality
Awesome module with good flexibility for searching in articles, titles, etc. Easy to customize and I use multiple instances because of it.
Ease of use
Pretty much self-explanatory in the settings. I have not used any documentation, just tried what things did to configure it. Awesome.
Support
I have reported a few small issues over the past year and each one was addressed quickly and CORRECTLY. I trust and appreciate the support.
Documentation
Like I said, not really needed; the functions are all clear. It is easy to experiment a little to see what it does and set it up.
Value for money
AWESOME. I happily pay the full fee to support Joomla developers such as this team.
I used this to: A replacement of the Universal Ajax Search that I thought was just terrific in the past. They have abandoned Joomla and IMO, EB Ajax Search is the NEW and EASY to use Ajax Search module for Joomla. I also use Minitek's Live Search and both extensions are USEFUL on any J4 site.

Indexes *some* SP Content, but not all

Functionality
ONLY indexes SP PageBuilder content that's written in the SP PageBuilder Component, not SP content written WITHIN Joomla articles.
Ease of use
Overall the plugin was easy to install and worked for some use cases, but their marketing about supporting SPPB content is misleading.
Support
Saurabh was helpful but I don't think my issues weren't really something they cared about and I couldn't get them to refund me my $15.
Documentation
Doesn't really need much documentation. The plugin is clean and well organized, just not robust enough for my uses. It's a good start tho.
Value for money
If you're NOT trying to index SPPB content within Joomla articles via the plugin you should be fine. Would be better if it also did ZOO.
I used this to: The Joomla search has always had issues with SP PageBuilder content that's written using the SPPB plugin within actual Joomla articles and I was hoping that this would solve that problem. Unfortunately it does not. It only returns query results from SPPB Component content.

Functionality
Mit der Erweiterung bekommt Joomla eine richtig gute Suche mit Vorschlag-Funktion, die vor allem auch einige Shops einbezieht.
Ease of use
Sehr einfach zu benutzen und zu konfigurieren. Intuitive Bedienung im Backend und Frontend.
Support
Es gab mit einer Version ein Problem und ich hatte nach drei Tagen einen Bug-Fix, das ist klasse und vorbildlich. Super-Support!
Documentation
Die Dokumentation könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. Die Installation wird gut beschrieben, dafür die Funktionen zu wenig für meinen Geschmack
Value for money
Unschlagbar gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Werde ich in Zukunft auf weiteren Seiten einsetzen.
I used this to: Vertriebsseite mit Phoca Cart als Katalog. Ich kann nun mit der Suche Artikel und Produkte anzeigen lassen.
Perfekt wäre es, wenn ich noch bestimmen könnte, ob ich zuerst Artikel oder Produkte in der Suche angezeigt bekomme.

Functionality
start to generate results from typing input, admin filters work great and gives a professional look and great matching results
Ease of use
A simple module install with admin features that are very intuitive. Simply seelct the component you wish to search along with the fields
Support
I asked for Phoca Cart support and paid for the work to be expedited. the search plugin now works with Phoca Cart 3and 4
Documentation
Didn't really need it as the module is so intutive and well put together that the admin options pretty much explain what you need to do
Value for money
Excellent, I have paid much much more for less functionality in the past so this module is a gift compared to others.
I used this to: Mainly for adding immediate product search results of users on my Phoca Cart ecommerce sites

Functionality
EB Ajax Search extension works exactly as mentioned and is super simple to configure.. Filters are also a great feature and works very smoot
Ease of use
It is extremely simple to use and configurations are self explanatory. I could able to see this within minutes and everything worked

Excellent pricing and works like a charm so definitely a value for money extension.
I used this to: I have got a multi-language site so I have used this Joomla site having multi-languages to quick-serve the search results and I am glad that I found this extension. Must try and buy for everyone…

Simply does what You would expect it to do - after tons of trouble with Joomlas smart-search this extension made my day.
Ease of use
Less than 3 minutes after download it did what it promised it would...

A question before buying it (concerning compatibility) was answered within a few hours...

Rarely needed - self-explaining extension.

Functionality
It works perfectly. The search results are immediate and very nice to look at. The filters by categories are very functional.
Ease of use
Easy to set up. I didn't need the documentation. Should there be any problems, great support is available.
Support
I had some problems partly caused by my template, but the support was patient and fast.
Documentation
Complete but superfluous. It explains everything in detail, from installation to configuration.
Value for money
Definitely worth my money. I think it's the right price for this module.
I used this to: Create a search engine for the video section of my site. I was looking for a search engine that would filter the search results by categories, and I found it.

Functionality
If You are planning to use this extension with K2 please note that it cannot search for text in extra fields or in article's author names.
Ease of use
Despite these limitations, this extension is pretty simple to use and configure.
Value for money
With such limitations I don't think that this is a good deal for K2 users. Better wait for an update or look for an alternative.
