Template Microdata Compatibility

HTML Microdata and JSON-LD are separate structured data formats.

Templates may contain markup such as:

JT SEO can detect and manage JSON-LD output, but it cannot safely remove arbitrary Microdata embedded inside a Joomla! template.

When JSON-LD is used as the primary structured data implementation, old Article Microdata in the template should be reviewed separately.

SP Page Builder and Other Component Pages

JT SEO Control Center uses a component-independent approach for general WebPage Schema.

Pages created using SP Page Builder and other Joomla! components can receive basic WebPage structured data without requiring a dedicated integration for each page builder.

Non-article pages remain WebPage entities.

JT SEO does not generate artificial Article datePublished or dateModified values for ordinary page builder pages.
