Adyen payment integration for HikaShop, on Adyen's Hosted Checkout.
At the end of the checkout the customer is sent to Adyen's secure payment page and comes back to the thank you page of your shop once the payment is done.
Your customers pay by card or with the wallets and local payment methods of your Adyen account: iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, SEPA Direct Debit, TWINT, BLIK, Swish, MB WAY, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and more, as your merchant account offers them for the customer's country and currency.
The customer never types a card number on your website, and 3-D Secure is handled by Adyen.
The order is confirmed when Adyen notifies your shop, so an order is still processed when the customer closes the browser before coming back.
The notifications are checked against the signature Adyen makes with your HMAC key, and the payments of your other shops on the same Adyen account are ignored.
The same notification delivered twice confirms the order once.
A refused card leaves the order waiting for its payment, so the customer can try again.
Orders are charged in their own currency, with Adyen's decimals for each one.
The order lines, taxes and addresses go with the payment, as buy now, pay later methods need them.
Choose the payment methods shown on the payment page, or leave the choice to your Adyen account.
Moving an order to the refunded status refunds its payment on Adyen, or cancels it when Adyen has not captured it yet, and the history of the order says when Adyen has processed it.
A test environment lets you run the whole flow with Adyen's test cards before going live.
