Introduction

Easy Joomla Backup creates complete backups without any frills. All files and a full database dump are stored in one backup zip archive. With this archive, you have all the important data with which you can restore the website completely combined in one package.

The component is intentionally kept simple, so as not to distract from the essentials: backing up the Joomla! website!

Use the cronjob plugin or the CLI script to schedule your backups and create them automatically.

I do not have to use the documentation very often because Viktor's extensions are pretty easy to figure out.

Functionality

It's an almost perfect extension, but unfortunately excluding files and folders doesn't work under Windows! No problem with Linux!

Functionality

The ability to create a full copy of the site, only a database or only files. Scheduled Backup. Exclusions of files and folders.

Ease of use

Very, very simple component. It is enough to install and press one button. You do not need to configure anything.

Documentation

The developer's site has a detailed description of the component and some of its settings.

I used this to: create a backup of the entire site on a schedule. The site is small. Up to 100 Mb. On a shared hosting, everything worked fine.

Functionality

It's ok, but incomplete backup of DB. 1 small DB i mis about 250 KB and from a bigger DB i mis 2MB. I Use phpadmin for db backup now.
