The EU legal guarantee notice and the EU GARAN label for HikaShop, as Directive (EU) 2024/825 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 require from 27 September 2026.
Enter the duration of the producer guarantee of durability on a product, and its GARAN label is drawn from the official template of the European Commission, with the duration, the brand and the model identifier filled in; the preview in the product form follows what you type.
The brand can be the brand of the product or a name entered for each product, and the model identifier its code or a model entered for each product.
Variants use the guarantee of their main product unless they have their own, with their own code as model identifier.
Whole or half years, typed with a dot or a comma, for example 3, 5 or 2,5, as the Commission's guidelines ask.
On the product page, the nested label the regulation allows online opens the full label on hover, click or tap, or the full label is shown directly.
The nested label can also be shown in product listings, and it is always shown under each product of the cart at the checkout, right before the order is placed.
The legal guarantee notice opens from a "Your legal guarantee rights" link, on the product page and in a checkout block you place in your checkout workflow.
The notice is shown in the language of the page, in all 24 official languages of the EU, with the link to the Your Europe page of that language.
The full labels of the products and the notice are added to the order confirmation emails you choose.
The official files of the Commission and the Inter font are included in the plugin, so nothing is loaded from an external service.
The duration, brand and model are columns of the products, so the CSV import and export of HikaShop handle them.
