Introduction

User Management, Site Links, Site Access, Site Navigation, URL Redirection

Nomad is not login redirection, it's homepage redirection!!! Joomla gives you a single homepage, but Nomad gives you as many as you want.

An administrator can make global homepage setting and after a user logs in, when they attempt to visit the homepage - they are sent to the homepage defined in the plugin settings.

The Pro version is discontinued. All features from Pro are now found in the standard free release (this one).

When a user logs in, this plugin takes control over their access to the home page. You can make assignments based on user groups and/or individual users. Likewise, you can have a global alternate homepage for users who don't otherwise have an assignment. When the user clicks a link to go to your homepage, they're redirected to their assigned homepage. Guests (not logged in users) see no difference.

Version 3.0 resolves the reported issues reported in the reviews (reviews are not the place to report issues. It would have been fixed sooner had I been contacted.)
Version 5 brings native Joomla 5 compatibility.

Did not work on Joomla 3.3.6.

Plug in is very simple. Easy to install and configure.

I used this to: I remember having tried it about a year ago so I thought I'd try again. It works for one group only, ignores the rest of the settings. Such a shame. Would be very useful.

This is exactly what I wanted, and needed, to complement my website - we have our staff, and also volunteer groups, who login to view details about upcoming projects.

I can now send the groups to their own details pages, and our staff to the admin overview page.

I use a number of Michael's extensions, and am always happy with them.

This plugin does exactly what it says - you can create an extremely granular login system that allows each user or group of users to be sent directly to the content of greatest interest to them. Nice piece of code - perhaps Joomla will include this in the core next time :-)
